your writing has helped me feel seen and understood; less alone as a sick person in this unforgiving world. it is humanizing, to know that there are others out there who get it, and so beautifully wondrous when they are able to express it in such a powerful way as to envelop the heart completely. thank you. as for a poem rec, how about Lima :: Limón by Natalie Scenters-Zapico? it's a wonderfully creative and devastatingly clever collection on contradiction, bilingualism, immigration, and womanhood

Hey, thanks for stopping by my guestbook a few weeks ago. I finally had a chance to take a closer look at your site. The design and navigation are lovely, and so cozy. Also enjoyed reading your blog, and your writing section. Hope you continue to add more of that.

Hello, hello! I was initially replying to your message on my guestbook and then I thought I may as well write something here so you'd actually see it :) but I just wanted to say that I love reading your writings (both on your blog and your essays). There's just something so engaging about the way you write and the way you just... get straight to the heart of the matter? Does that make sense? Reading your writing just feels like you just took the thoughts right out of my head. Aside from that, there's a poem called 'ode to a tardigrade' which is basically how it sounds. If you ever have time for a poetry collection, read Blud (Rachel McKibbens) :), it's one of my favourites (not that I'm too enlightened went it comes to poetry).

I'm still going through your site -- and that's kind of a beautiful thing. There's so much neat stuff and I really love how your structured it.

I really like this site, especially the list page- I make a lot of lists, so seeing a bunch look so good in a digital format here inspires me to try and add some to my own site! When it comes to poems, I think "Fuck Your Lecture on Craft, My People Are Dying" by Noor Hindi is incredibly impactful

Lists truly are so fun, esp getting to glimpse others. I even have a small pile of others hand-written lists collected over the years from library books and shopping baskets. And thank you for the poem rec, I'll check it out asap!

hey hey. thinking about loops and circles now. i wrote down something in my notes app a year ago when i was reading about atoms and getting emotional and Loops made me think of it. "Big and Small seem to be on opposite sides of the line, but the line is a circle and when the two extremes meet they become the same thing. That thing is the World." it sounds totally nonsensical because it's hard to put into words but the ouroboros made me think "hey, someone else noticed." i dunno

It sounds a little nonsensical but it also does make sense. Loops have such a strange effect on me. Truly the most wondrous thing in the world at times

hey!! i really loved this entry. the part about rereading your old journals & realizing you’d already written down exactly what was wrong, only to stay for four more years.. especially the “maybe i’m being dramatic” reflex & how that followed you into later relationships. thank you for sharing this!! (I RELATE TO YOU SO HARD)

thank YOU for reading and writing this! makes me feel less alone in it, I always worried about sharing stuff about this and just looking a fool

Had a proper look at some of your site, loved it btw. I especially liked the section where you've curated some videos from YouTube and while I've already seen some already I found some interesting newer ones that I enjoyed so I had to say thank you. I also liked your insights on doomscrolling and the doom loop and I agreed with you but also find it a bit sad that this is becoming increasingly common these days. Overall I enjoyed my visit here.

I hope at least being able to talk about the doom loop and scroll more helps to recognize the patterns in ourselves. And I'm glad you enjoyed it thank you!

Hi Meadows! I had such a great time exploring your site. I love your short book recommendations and will definitely be checking some out (I Who Have Never Known Men is one of my favorite books of all time). Your loops, digital gardens, and Gen X soft club pages are also so well-curated and super inspiring. I recommend the poem "Island" by Langston Hughes. I hope you have a lovely day!

I don't know if you remember me but we had a brief exchange about my bad writing but you were pretty inspirational to it haha... still i catch you sometimes back when you were on twt and tumblr and got pretty worried seeing u post about the drama and i'm glad you made this site to put set your own terms on engaging with da internet,,,i like what brief things i saw and i hope you're doing well!
